Dusty Deco

An eclectic perspective shaped by collecting and travel.

Dusty Deco began in Sweden with a simple instinct: to live with objects that carry presence, patina, and individuality. What started with weekends spent sourcing for a home gradually evolved into a broader design language, one rooted in collected interiors, layered references, and a strong emotional connection to the pieces chosen for a space.

Over time, that point of view has expanded into a collection of furniture, rugs, lighting, and objects that feel expressive yet enduring. Dusty Deco balances bold form with warmth, creating interiors where contrast, color, and materiality work together in a way that feels both personal and composed.

How Dusty Deco takes shape

Rooms built through contrast, confidence, and collected atmosphere.

Dusty Deco’s interiors are never about strict uniformity. Instead, they are built through juxtaposition: polished surfaces against soft textiles, sculptural silhouettes beside found objects, and influences from different decades brought together with ease.

The result is a point of view that feels eclectic without becoming chaotic. Color, material, and proportion are used to create balance, turning contrast into something warm, memorable, and surprisingly livable.

Founders and evolution

From a shared collecting instinct to a global design brand.

Founders Edin and Lina Kjellvertz came to interiors through fashion, but their real education in design happened through collecting. Flea markets, travel, and the experience of living with distinctive objects shaped an aesthetic that felt deeply personal from the beginning.

That early curiosity eventually expanded into Dusty Deco’s own collection and a series of immersive spaces, from Stockholm to Los Angeles and Mallorca. Each setting has added to the brand’s visual language while staying close to its original instinct: to create rooms filled with pieces worth living with long-term.

Edin & Lina Kjellvertz

Dusty Deco’s founders continue to shape the brand’s signature pieces, drawing on a visual world informed by collecting, Southern European interiors, bold contrasts, and a fondness for pieces with warmth and presence. Their work often brings together marble, wood, polished surfaces, and soft upholstery in combinations that feel expressive yet resolved.

Collaborations and reissues

The wider collection includes work by names such as Matthew Williamson, MER Arkitekter, Bross, Sigfrid Billgren, Niklas Runesson, and Elias Svedberg. Together, these voices add depth to the brand, spanning contemporary furniture, architectural thinking, expressive material use, and revived Swedish design history.
