Launched in 1935 and generally considered the archetypal Anglepoise design, the Original 1227™ Desk Lamp pioneered the lighting brand's unique constant tension spring technology to deliver ultimate flexibility and perfect balance. Each piece comes in an extended range of classic colors and incorporates Anglepoise's traditional chrome fittings.

Supplied with (1) 13W E26 CFL bulb with luminous intensity of 900lm and 2700K color temperature. Non-dimmable. cUL certified.

The lampshade and stem is crafted from painted aluminum with a gloss finish or plated in bright chrome while the base is cast iron with a steel cover. The shade cap, bridle, spacers, and fittings are chrome while the 78.7" power cord is twisted woven fabric. The series features Anglepoise® constant tension spring technology.
