On the Rocks Sofa

On the Rocks from Edra treats the sofa less like a fixed object and more like a landscape you can continually redraw. Four generously proportioned seating elements take their shapes from irregular geometry, fitting together along different edges or separating entirely to change the way a room is used. There is no rigid internal frame dictating how you sit. Instead, layers of polyurethane foam and Gellyfoam® are shaped by hand into broad, yielding surfaces, joined by two flexible backrests that can be placed wherever support is wanted. Move a backrest forward for a more upright seat, push it farther away to create extraordinary depth, or turn the composition around entirely. This sofa makes comfort something fluid, shared, and entirely your own.
