The Day Armchair by Gärsnäs finds beauty in the details that are usually hidden. Designed by Pierre Sindre, its softly tailored upholstery is traced by a visible strap along the back, turning a structural element into a subtle signature that can blend quietly into the upholstery or stand apart in contrast. A slender tubular steel frame keeps the silhouette light, while armrests tipped in solid wood bring warmth and a tactile finish to the precise lines. Thoughtful construction extends beneath the surface, too: the upholstery is fitted without glue and finished with a discreet rear zipper, allowing the piece to be reupholstered and renewed over time.
