While Charles was given credit for the couple's work for many years, both Charles and Ray Eames contributed enormously to their award-winning designs. With a grand sense of adventure, Charles and Ray Eames turned their curiosity and boundless enthusiasm into creations that established them as a truly great husband-and-wife design team. Shortly after marrying in Michigan, where they worked together, the couple moved to Los Angeles and started their own office.
