Afteroom is on a mission to design products that will become more treasured as the years pass. “We want to create design you can grow old with,” explain designers Hung-Ming Chen and Chen-Yen Wei, adding: “Simplicity and honesty are at the heart of our design philosophy.” Hailing from Taiwan, they were lured to Stockholm by an obsession with Scandinavian design. In 2013, they designed Menu’s first-ever chair, the Afteroom Chair, and the rest is history.
