Shipping & Delivery

We provide several levels of delivery service depending on the size, weight and fragility of the items you have ordered. The delivery options available for your order will be reflected at checkout. Please note that items ordered together may not necessarily be shipped together.


Delivery pricing is calculated as a percentage of pre-tax order value, using the original price of the item. Promotional and sale pricing does not affect delivery pricing.

Standard Shipping 

10% of order value

Doorstep Delivery

15% of order value

$149.99 min.

$1,000 max.

White Glove Delivery

15% of order value + $399

$1,000 max.

*Local delivery within 50 miles of the showroom is available at a max charge of $399.

 

Standard Shipping

Smaller items that can be delivered via UPS or FedEx. Orders that ship via Standard Shipping will include tracking information within the Shipment Confirmation eMail. Please note, we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes.

Freight Delivery

Furniture and larger items ship via Freight Delivery. We offer two levels of service depending on the size, weight and fragility of your item:

Doorstep Service - Outside Delivery

Doorstep Service offers delivery of your order in its original packaging by one of our third party carriers to your doorstep. If you live in an apartment and/or condominium complex, this delivery option will deliver your items as far as the front entrance of your building. This service level does not include delivery inside your home, a scheduled appointment, unpacking and/or assembly. 


To ensure safety during transit, some items may be shipped and delivered on a pallet. If you require additional service, we suggest upgrading to our White Glove Delivery Service option.

White Glove Service - Inside Delivery

White Glove Service is our premium delivery option and includes a scheduled appointment, unpacking and/or assembly, room placement and removal of packaging. White Glove Service does not include structural modifications, electrical work nor the disposal or moving of existing furniture. White Glove Service also does not include unpacking, assembling, or installing wall-mounted furniture. Please allow an additional 1-4 weeks for white glove delivery services. Scheduling options are dependent on the delivery location. 

Installation Fee

Oversized deliveries with a combined total greater than $20,000 may be subject to a flat rate installation fee. Installation fees supersede those outlined above and will be applied at checkout.

Orders Shipping to U.S. Territories and Outside of the U.S.

Orders to U.S. Territories, cannot be placed online. Please contact support@lekkerhome.com to coordinate shipping.


Lekker Home does not offer international shipping at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Orders Shipping to Remote or Island Locations

Remote is defined as a suburb/town that is distant, inaccessible or infrequently served or a location that is difficult to serve (i.e. mountain roads, unpaved routes, narrow passage, etc.). This includes delivery to Lower Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, and Block Island. To accommodate delivery to remote locations, a $500 surcharge will be applied at checkout. 


All other Island locations are not serviceable by Lekker Home. Your order will be delivered to a receiver of your choosing on the mainland for you to coordinate final mile delivery. Please contact us at support@lekkerhome.com and one of our design associates would be pleased to assist you.

Preparing for Delivery

Measure Before You Purchase

We want to ensure your new furniture is delivered successfully. There is important measurement and obstruction information to consider before you purchase your furniture. Please refer to our Home Measuring Guide for helpful tips.

 

It is your responsibility to measure all points of entry carefully before making your purchase to ensure a successful delivery. Furniture that does not fit at the time of delivery is subject to the terms outlined in our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

 

Additional delivery fees may be incurred if return trips are needed or if you cancel or reschedule your delivery appointment the day of. If the delivery team cannot access your space through a doorway, staircase, hallway or elevator, you are responsible for arranging additional services. Our delivery team cannot place products into your home through a window or other unconventional points of entry.

 

Special Requirements

Please inform our Design Associates of any special requirements at the time of purchase, such as steep or narrow roads and driveways, private gated access, or multiple flights of stairs. Our delivery team can accommodate carrying furniture up one flight of stairs.

Apartment/Condominium Dwellers

If your building has a freight elevator, please reserve it in advance. Additionally, If your building requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for deliveries, please ensure that you have provided all of the necessary information to your sales consultant beforehand. There is a $35 fee for providing a COI.

What to Expect

We use an exclusive network of delivery partners for our delivery services depending on your location. Once your order is received and inspected at the local warehouse, our delivery team will contact you for scheduling.


Our delivery team is not permitted or insured for wall mounting, structural modifications, electrical work, nor the disposal or moving of existing furniture - this includes moving furniture for rug deliveries. Before our delivery team arrives, prepare your home by doing the following:

 
•Remove doors or handrails  if necessary
•Move existing furniture and set rugs in place
•Secure low-hanging light fixtures
•Remove pictures or artwork
•Secure pets in another room
 

Inspect your furniture thoroughly during delivery. If any defects or damage is present, it is important to acknowledge it on the delivery receipt and reach out to our support team. Please refer to our Returns & Exchanges for further details.
