Originally founded by Niels Eilersen in 1895 to manufacture horse-drawn carriages, today Eilersen is renown for the long-lasting comfort and timeless design of its sofas.
Niels Eilersen was an innovative young man, being the first in Denmark to discover steam-bending wood. So when automobiles became the transportation of the future, he adapted his coach-building technique to build bodies for cars and buses. In 1934 the factory burned to the ground. Adapting once again to new circumstances, Niels Eilersen decided to start producing high-quality upholstered furniture. The Danish company has built upon the innovations of its founder and is constantly improving production techniques with new technology.
Eilersen prides itself on keeping the tradition of quality craftsmanship to create modern, fashion-conscious pieces of furniture that will last a lifetime.
Lekker Home is proud to be the largest Eilersen showroom in New England. We have access to the entire Eilersen portfolio. So if you don't see what you're looking for or need assistance please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 877.7LEKKER (877.753.5537). We're here to help!
