The Staple Wall Lamp, designed by Søren Rose, is inspired by the New York City glamor of the late 1930s. A part of Menu's Tribeca lighting series, the Staple was born when Rose traveled across the United States in search of beautiful old lamps. When he returned to his base in New York, he took the pieces apart and reassembled as he saw fit. In this way, the Staple melds modern aesthetics with the warmth of vintage pieces.
Arms and connection parts are made from solid brass or powder coated steel rod. The socket is painted ceramic. The brass is not lacquered so the metal will darken and patinate over time.
