Eames® Molded Plywood Folding Screen

This early experiment by Charles and Ray Eames in molding wood can artfully divide space, serve as an elegant backdrop or create privacy. Self-supporting and connected with woven polypropylene mesh, the undulating plywood collapses for easy storage or transport.

Sandwiching the screen's inner plies between veneers yields sturdy, five-ply molded plywood sections that resist warping and separation. The screen is made of six U-shaped sections, each 10 inches wide.

Offered in natural cherry, walnut, white ash and ebony-stained ash veneer. Crafted with natural materials, the product will change color with age. Each section is connected by woven polypropylene mesh.

Measures: 60" W x 2.5" D x 68" H
