Made from a single piece of brass, the A330S Golden Bell Pendant by Artek was custom-designed for the Savoy Restaurant in Helsinki in 1936. Designers Alvar and Aino Aalto originally designed the Polished Brass version, which has since been dubbed the "Golden Bell Savoy". In recent years, Artek has reimagined this iconic light in new finishes that still pay respect to the original design.

Artek was founded in Helsinki in 1935 by four young idealists: Alvar and Aino Aalto, Maire Gullichsen, and Nils-Gustav Hahl. Their goal was “to sell furniture and to promote a modern culture of living by exhibitions and other educational means.” In keeping with the radical spirit of its founders, Artek today remains an innovative player in the world of modern design, developing new products at the intersection of design, architecture, and art.

Artek combines modern production methods with expert craftsmanship, keeping within the original vision of Alvar Aalto. Regional sourcing, sustainability, and safety are pursued without compromise, both by Artek and its partners, ensuring ethical manufacture and design of the highest quality.
