Natalie van Dijk grew up surrounded and inspired by Dutch design, color and textiles in her native Amsterdam. In 2003, Natalie and her husband left corporate life to pursue the creation of a lifestyle store, showcasing furniture and accessories that encapsulate authenticity, sustainability, quality and craftsmanship. Lekker, Dutch for "alluring, enticing and tempting”, was born.
Based in Boston, Lekker Home embodies a “design for living” concept. Our European warm modern appeal caters to discerning household consumers and design professionals alike. As an independent and family-owned company, we take business personally. Our team is cohesive and adept, giving us the ability to be responsive to all of your needs. We foster an environment of employee empowerment whereby each team member is given the freedom to shape policy, enabling us to make decisions with our clients’ best interests in mind. We create trusting and long-lasting relationships by offering timely and personalized solutions to your design challenges.
Our showroom is located in Boston’s South End where nineteenth century brownstones sit alongside contemporary lofts, providing a warm and welcoming setting to explore modern design. We seek to cultivate a community that is as inspired by good design as we are. We only sell authorized and original design from original manufacturers.
At Lekker Home we believe we have a responsibility to our planet and the people who live on it. We support earth friendly production methods using environmentally sound materials. Further, we endorse products made from sustainable and renewable resources. Furniture and décor should be considered an investment in quality of life for everyone, rather than simply disposable goods.
