Project Spotlight: A Trip to Tel Aviv

We're back here for another Friday with the project spotlight series – this week we wanted to share with you a home in Tel Aviv by Lindsay Bentis of Thread Art and Design! Bentis, a Los Angeles Native, established Thread in 2006 and specializes in residential design and construction consultation. She consistently creates interiors that are imaginative, complex, and pushing the boundaries of modern all at the same time. This special project in particular has filled us with all the hopefulness of spring and dreams about the long list of places we want to travel in the coming year.
Interior Design: Thread Art and Design

Location: Tel Aviv
If only we could all have lollipop art in our entry-way, so Charm-ing (get it)!
Living Room
The palette of the project feels royal and luxurious without being standoffish by incorporating various shades of purple, but making sure to balance everything with natural tones and organic materials like the Eames Walnut Stool or the plants atop side tabes. Also, the Roll and Hill Modo Chandelier with smoke glass ... next level.
All the mediums come together splendidly with so many angular and architectural elements, from the straight edge of a bench to the clean lines of the staircase – and it lets the geometry and traditional quilting of the Jehs + Laub Lounge Chair truly shine.
Kitchen + Dining Room
The modern is not forgotten however with plenty of marble, graphic art, and large windows bringing in so much light.
And that balance comes back again by just looking at the space from a different angle, the steam-bent wood of the CH88 Chair seemingly marries the industrial and the natural.
Upstairs
The custom carpentry and shelving above the bed is maybe our favorite detail ...
Or maybe it's the vibrancy of the East River Chair (in blue mix) against the ornate bedroom rug!
Outdoor Spaces
Well we know where we'd like to be this summer...
