Project Spotlight: Get Lost in This Beacon Hill Carriage House

This week we wanted to give you a tour of the LTK Interiors project that was featured by Arch Digest earlier this month. It's a classic Beacon Hill Carriage House that was transformed into a multi-dimensional, stylistically layered interior created by taking advantage of its unique carriage house physicalities. Our carriage house was designed to capture the essence of a functional carriage house, combined with an industrial feel and a sense of Europe and the Middle East, which are areas that we travel to very often," the owners note.

Lisa Kreiling of LTK is one of our favorites in the Boston design scene, working on residential dreamscapes under her name since 2009. She infuses her work with a laidback sophistication reminiscent of her roots from the serene North Fork of Long Island. We're so excited to share this project with you.

Location: Beacon Hill, Boston

Interior: LTK Interiors

Photography: Jared Kuzia

Kitchen

The first floor where the carriages would have resided is as bright as ever!

Living Room

Venetian Plaster makes the living room feel likes it's in another world and the Reflect Table by Bensen doesn't look too shabby either.

Dining Room

The mix of heirloom vintage pieces and new classics like this table from Nakashima's workshop (!!!) and the Saarinen Executive Chairs help propel that multidimensional feeling throughout the home.

The glass wall partition and floor-to-ceiling bookshelves in the dining room help this CH07 Shell Lounge Chair corner still feel like a private moment.

Powder Room

Come on! The geometry of this bathroom? Fuchsia and a triangular mirror? Our dreams have come true.

Master

With some French doors and a fireplace, we'd happily camp out here forever.

Guest Room

Even the guest room has a fireplace and a Swan Chair nook, so that settles that, we're moving in.
