Available in one size. Laminated, molded veneer seat with 14mm steel base. The colored ash option has clearly visible wood grain while the lacquered finish is soft with no visible wood grain.

Initially, Arne Jacobsen designed the Ant™ Chair for the canteen at Novo Nordic, an international Danish healthcare company. Today, the Ant™ Chair is one of the prominent icons of the collection. Originally, the Ant™ Chair was close to ending up as just another prototype, since Fritz Hansen wasn't convinced of the chair's potential. The chair, however, survived the initial skepticism when Arne Jacobsen guaranteed to buy all chairs produced, if no one else would.
Since its founding in Denmark in 1872, Fritz Hansen's philosophy is that a single piece of furniture has the power to enhance an entire room, uplifting internationally recognized modern designers at every stage of their evolution.
